The Products are warranted by Tarquti for a period of twelve (12) months as of the date of delivery at the given Community, following which manufacturer warranties may apply. These warranties are subject to the Products being handled in conformity with the documentation and other specifications relating to their operation and use.

Siqinirsiutik is easy to install with basic handyman experience. You may of course reach out to a professional, or someone with more experience, to install your kit. Tarquti, however, does not provide such services.

If you wish to cancel an order, you may request a cancellation at any time prior to picking up your order by contacting us at siqinirsiutik@tarquti.ca. In such event, we will refund the full amount within fifteen (15) days of processing your request for cancellation. No returns or exchanges will be accepted following pick-up of your order.
Certain care has to be taken, but the system can be used and left installed throughout the winter. When leaving your cabin, the batteries should ideally be fully charged. If you do not plan on being back to your cabin in the near future, the inverter can be disabled. If it will be a long time before you’re back, the system can be shut down completely. In order to ‘winterize or shut down the system’, refer to the user manual, section 4.7.6 to understand the steps to do to optimize your equipment.
Tarquti’s ability to sell Siqinirsiutik at such a reduced rate depends on government subsidies. To ensure a fair and equitable share to all communities, Tarquti distributes a limited number of products to each community and sells them on a first-come first-serve basis. By Fall 2024, all communities of Nunavik will have received at least 15 Siqinirsiutik products. Based on the demand and funding, more kits will be made available for purchase in 2025.
It will be important to keep the batteries charged.
